A wreath is the perfect addition to any home. Like don’t you just want to come in and cozy up on the couch with some hot apple cider? It’s a great way to make your guests feel welcomed.
Supplies:
This was so easy and fun. What is so great about making your own wreath is that you can get super creative and add all of your favorite pieces. I started with a grapevine wreath base, then grabbed my chunky yarn and started wrapping it. I just tucked the stray ends into the wreath.
Yarn Wreath DIY
A hot glue gun is always good to have around when making a wreath. I will admit this wreath base was pretty lopsided. So when adding my sunflowers I made sure to place them in a spot that would help hide that.
Fall Sunflower Wreath
This wreath is mainly filled with sunflowers, but then I added in my fillers. Mini pumpkins were next. Pumpkins are always a great addition when it comes to a fall wreath. To make the faux florals stick, I just glued them onto the yarn. Come take a look at our Fall tablescape, perfect for family and friends.
Next are billy balls! Have you ever heard of such a thing? Well they are my absolute fave! Then I just used the greenery leaves as a filler, to get rid of those empty spaces.
I almost forgot, lastly the ribbon. I’m going to be honest it’s not my best ribbon ever, but it does work.
Farmhouse Fall Decor
Decorating for fall on the porch is the best. Mums should be number one on the list! They just scream fall. Mums were placed all throughout the porch, along with many lanterns.
Here is more fall wreath inspiration. Mud painted vases would be a great look for your fall front porch, filled with greenery.
Daisy loves our new front porch, perfectly decorated for fall. If you want to see what our front porch looked liked before here is a link. We still have to add railings, I haven’t decided yet what I want.
Happy fall y’all! Have fun decorating and creating.
