Here on the farm on most saturday mornings you will smell some Blueberry Dutch Babies with Buttermilk Syrup. We love to whip these up in the cast iron for a nice crust. I did add a little twist from our normal recipe and decided to add in some fresh blueberries!
You’ve probably seen dutch babies a thousand times on the internet so I had to make some and it was so worth it! It probably doesn’t compare to blueberry pancakes. But if you want to mix up your routine this would be it! These are even great for dinner.

If you haven’t had the buttermilk syrup you need to try it. I am not joking when I say this, it brings them to the next level!
Easy Breakfast Idea
We love to serve the buttermilk syrup in cute little pitchers. It makes for easy pouring. If we have leftovers we do save it and heat it up the next day. It is not the same frothy consistency but it is still so good.
