Delicious Easy Homemade Pizza Pockets
Equipment
- 1 Stand Mixer
- 1 cutting board
- 1 baking sheet
Ingredients
Pizza Pocket Dough
- 1 cup warm water 120 degrees
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2-1/2 tsp yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 cups flour
Filling
- 10 string cheese sticks
- 50 pieces of pepperoni
Topping
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1-1/2 tsp parsley
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Make Dough
- Place warm water, sugar, and yeast in mixer bowl. Let sit 3 minutes
- Add oil, salt, and flour. Let mixer run for 5 minutes.
Make Pockets
- Turn dough onto a cutting board and divide into ten even pieces. Pat each dough piece into a 4" x 7" rectangle. Place one cheese stick and five pepperonis in each dough and fold over. Carefully pinch closed so no cheese can leak out.
- Place all pockets on a sprayed baking sheet. Brush on melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt, parsley, and cheese.
- Bake 450 for 15 minutes (the baking time given is for a light colored pan, they will be done sooner if using a dark pan.)
