With an upcoming fall wedding one of the inspirations is using drop cloth for the tables to add texture and that soft creamy color. I began to create something that might be somewhat similar with an Easy Fall Outdoor Table with Drop Cloth. Easy Fall Outdoor Table with Drop Cloth
With the wedding coming close we wanted to get a feel of what we can do with the wedding table setting. I created a little fall table setting with some elements Claire is going for. But what I think is so cool, is being able to use drop cloth for the table cloth!
Drop cloth is an inexpensive and very pretty way to add texture to your table. Plus they are super large, so it can run all the way to the floor. Which really adds a dramatic and romantic effect.
Drop Cloth DIY Tablecloth
We also dyed the cheese cloth to add color and texture. But it’s also found on Etsy, I would recommend buying it from Etsy because it’s hard to get the exact color you want. It’s also super inexpensive and such a gorgeous option. If you like some pops of color added to your table, I have this fun and beautiful fall tablescape.
Deciding on the centerpiece
This was actually a very simple table to put together and you can add and take away what you want. Instead of just putting my centerpiece in the middle, I added a charcuterie board to create more depth. It really adds that special touch. Of course I wanted to incorporate fall so I added some pumpkins and warm fall colors. An Easy Fall Outdoor Table with Drop Cloth is so fun and you can get so creative with your personal style. Drop cloth is just an inexpensive way to get a textured, high end look to your table.

Table Setting for Fall
I still wanted to keep the table simple and not go too over the top with the decor. I tied a simple knot in the napkins and placed them right on the black matte plates. Copper silverware is perfect for fall, it gives a modern cozy feel to the table. Make sure you check out our other fall tablescape plus we share a yummy recipe.
One of my favorite parts is the vintage amber glasses. They add that extra special look to the table. I would love to see the fall outdoor spaces you can create. Tag me on Instagram @HallstromHome. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to take a look below at all the gorgeous outdoor spaces.

What size did you use for your table and what brand? Looks so beautiful!
I think a 9×12 but I believe I cut it down to size!
This table is beautiful. My daughter is having a fall wedding. What is the color of the runner?
Hi Jenn, Thanks for the support! I can’t remember if we tea dyed it but I want to say that its a burnt ember color though. If you decide to tea dye, the longer you leave it in and the more you dip it the color will turn darker. So try it out and let me know how it goes.
Love this look, especially for dining alfresco 🥰
It is so perfect for dining outdoors!
