I haven’t made an Easy Tater Tot Casserole in a long time! When all 7 kids were living at home it was one of my go to meals. It is so quick to whip up and everyone loves it.
One Pot Dinner
I love that I can do this all in one pot and then throw it in the oven to warm up the tater tots then I’m done. I personally use a cast iron to make this, as the cast iron adds a good crust to the edges.
Easy Tater Tot Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Small Onion
- 2 Cups Corn Or any veggies you like
- 1 8 oz Can Cream of potato
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 1 Package Tater Tots
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Put cast iron pan on stove to medium heat. Add olive oil.
- Add your onions and sauté for about 2 minutes. Now add your ground beef. Cook until brown.
- Add in your corn, Montreal seasoning, salt, and pepper
- Now add in your cream of potato and heavy cream. Mix everything together and let it simmer.
- Now top your mixture with the tater tots.
- Transfer your cast iron into the oven. And cook for 25 minutes.
Easy Casserole Dinners
This is now my favorite olive oil, we actually sell it. It comes from Greece and it has such an amazing taste and it is so smooth. I have been using it in all my dinners when I’m cooking. I usually would also add in green beans and carrots but I only had corn. Which was so good! One of my go to easy dinners is our cheese burger sliders!
Easy Tater Tot Casserole
Once we serve this up I like to top mine with some ketchup. This reminds me of our easy chicken pot pie recipe. Especially with Fall coming these are great meals for the cooler weather. For the Montreal seasoning you can really use any seasoning you like. But that’s what was right next to me when I was cooking.
