How to Decorate Mantel For Fall– 3 Elements I love to use when decorating my fall mantels

1. Faux Fall Foliage. I ordered a bunch off amazon because it’s so easy. These pomegranates branches are from there. I also used the yellow leaf garland from Target. I have had these for a couple years.
2. Candles are a must when decorating. Fall is the time for cozy ambiance. Here I used some gold candle holders I spray painted black and then paired them with our handmade mercury glass candles. Mix and match is so easy with modern farmhouse style
3. Pumpkins, Use real or faux. Chalk Painted or use as they come. I have fun and easy tutorial on how to chalk paint pumpkins as well as how to gold foil pumpkins for a glamourous fall decor style

Should we talk about DIY fall candles for a minute? have you made candles? I thought for sure I would master it the first time trying but there’s more to it and in time I figured how how to reduce the amount of bubbles that can happen. I also found the best scents that will elevate candles into something so delicious and yummy. Paired with a gorgeous vessel and your ready for fall. Decorating Mantel For Fall

When to decorate MANTEL for fall- The best option is to put up fall decor in September or October once the weather starts changing. Avoid hanging fall decor anytime before late August so your decorations can be in sync with the season.

How to balance a fall mantel– Add some faux (or real) floral stems or greenery to the vases. The stems on each side won’t match exactly, but make sure the arrangements are balanced—similar height and fullness on each side. This mantle is so small that I chose to go bold with greenery on one side and then the black candle holders balanced the other side

Other ways to add life to a mantel include flowers, potted plants, and candles and these cute modern wood houses for any season
