We just got back from Hawaii and you know when you’re walking on the beach and you can smell the Hawaiian air? It really makes you want a yummy treat and dole whips are perfect for the beach. When we were home we were craving some so we made some ourselves just winging it with our own recipe. Here is how we made Homemade Pineapple Dole Whip.
Homemade Pineapple Dole Whip
This is also a staple when you are in Disneyland. I think the dole whip honestly might be one of my kids favorite parts! I cut up one fresh pineapple and froze the chucks the night before but I’m sure you can freeze canned pineapple as well. Lime juice is key so don’t skip that.
Ingredients:
4 ounces pineapple juice
1 big scoop vanilla ice cream (about 3/4 cup)
2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
splash of lime juice
pinch of salt
Easy Summer Desserts
All that you have to do is add all the ingredients together and blend until smooth. We use our Ninja blender and it works great! I will usually eat right after it’s blended. Serve it to your guests in a cute small bowl. But you can always put it in your freezer to eat later!
