To begin with our table setting I went with our white linen table cloth. The ruffles really make this look shabby chic and springy. But white is always a good go to for your tablecloth. The secret is, this table cloth can also be used as a bed throw.

Of course we needed to add a pop of color, so we went with our velvet table runner. Layering is a great way to add your favorite pieces. This is a great table for Easter, Mothers Day, or you can change out a couple pieces to make this fit year round.
Ok but I have to tell you about my new favorite plates! I’m not the type that is usually into printed plates but I saw these bunny plates at Pottery Barn and I knew I had to have them. These are the cutest little things I have ever seen. Anyways I layered them on top of our shabby chic chargers. Chargers a just a fun simple touch to a Spring tablescape.
Now for our centerpiece. Start by grabbing all of your favorite spring pieces. I like to have many pieces gathered so I can play with it. Add and take away pieces. We went with a wood riser because it adds a height element. Not too much height to where you can’t see the person across. But it makes it much more fun than if it was just placed onto the table.
Add some fun decor to your walls with a rag wreath tutorial. They add just the right amount of Spring into your home.

You can’t have an Easter brunch without scones! We have a yummy pear scone recipe great for guests. Our little bunny was a must for our centerpiece then our simple terra cotta pot. I didn’t want to go overboard with the decorations. As this is already a smaller table and I didn’t want it to feel cluttered.
If you want a more trendy look knot your napkins. It is a simple way to get a sophisticated look. But a napkin ring will always do the trick as well.
Then some pillows placed for comfort. Don’t you just want to dive in, eat some scones and chat? Now that’s what I call a fun day!
