Let me be honest and say that Valentines was never a big deal for me when the kids were little. I would do their classroom parties and get the kids a gift but I never really decorated the house until these last few years. It happens to be really fun to plan a little party for adults and especially for ones employees. So we created a Valentine’s Table Setting with a pink theme and lots of candy because we are more like kids than adults around here.

Valentine’s Table Setting
But I wanted you to be able to create something fun and beautiful for Valentines. More importantly easy, because I know how life can get.
4 Easy Steps to Creating A Beautiful Valentines Table Setting.
Step 1. Choose your table linens, for me I often use our custom linen table clothes that we have in our shop but today I used a vintage table cloth as I loves the details and the look is so romantic. I then paired it with our handmade velvet table runner in a soft pink to set the stage for a Valentines Day Table Setting.
Step 2. Place settings can be hard to decide on. I ended up using our shabby chic style plate chargers paired with white and pink plates and silver to soften the look. I will give you all the links so you can shop this look.
Step 3. Now for the table centerpiece. I didn’t have a lot of room on this table so I had to use the space wisely. We had just gotten the antique wood risers in stock and loved the texture it adds. So I started with one of these and then stacked our candy and flowers on top. I thought about adding candles holders but It was getting a bit crowded. We have a large selection of hand painted candle holders in our Etsy shop which is different than our .com shop.
Step 4. Finish your table off with all the goodies. In a time where sugar is frowned upon and considered unhealthy. I still embrace my sugar addiction. Not to much but…It does make me happy and so I included it in my Valentines Table setting for all our employees to enjoy.
Valentines Table Setting
This whole shabby chic style Valentines Table was set up in our office. It’s basically my home away from home so we try to keep this space as beautiful as possible.
The chair really set the stage for a french shabby chic style. I will get you the link to them as they didn’t cost a lot and I like how comfortable they are. We have a fall dining room with these chairs if you’d like to see more style options.
To create a simple floral vase for valentines day we kept it simple by using a white vase and a few different faux flowers set in a whimsical fashion.
This drink is one of my favorites for parties and special occasions. We often use this as a wedding drink. Here is a link to make this for your Valentines day.
