Place warm water, sugar, and yeast in mixer bowl. Let sit 3 minutes
Add oil, salt, and flour. Let mixer run for 5 minutes.
Make Pockets
Turn dough onto a cutting board and divide into ten even pieces. Pat each dough piece into a 4" x 7" rectangle. Place one cheese stick and five pepperonis in each dough and fold over. Carefully pinch closed so no cheese can leak out.
Place all pockets on a sprayed baking sheet. Brush on melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt, parsley, and cheese.
Bake 450 for 15 minutes (the baking time given is for a light colored pan, they will be done sooner if using a dark pan.)
Notes
Use any filling you want. Lissa put in 2 tbsp of ground sausage.Heat your favorite marinara sauce for dipping.These make great leftovers so we tend to make a double batch.
