Equipment

  • 1 bowl for cinnamon and sugar
  • 1 bowl dry ingredients
  • 1 Stand Mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 2-3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking power
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Cinnamon and Sugar Mixture

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Set oven to 400
  • Combine butter, sugar, and egg; beat well.
  • Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well combined.
  • Chill. 20ish minutes.
  • While dough is chilling mix 2 tablespoons sugar to 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
  • Form dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  • Put on a cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
  • Smush down cookies then put in oven.
  • Cooks for 8 to 10 minutes.
